• Newcastle Decluttering Services provides a professional and confidential service. All client details are kept confidential and are not shared with third parties.  Any photographs or testimonials will only be used with the client’s consent and will be used in an anonymous way.

• Newcastle Decluttering Services offer support and advice on decluttering. However, we are not valuers, so can only offer our advice. We recommend the client gets professional valuations for any items they are unsure of the value of and do not accept any responsibility for the decisions made by the client during our decluttering sessions.

• We will not remove any items from the property without the client’s consent. We do not remove items of rubbish but will advise on local companies that can help. We will donate suitable items to charity. We support the mental health charity Mind, and unless otherwise instructed, will take all charitable donations to the local Mind shop.

• We take great care in handling goods but will not accept liability for accidental losses or damage. We recommend our clients use their own home insurance for any breakages or damage. As a business we are insured for Public Liability and Professional Indemnity.

• We will only work in a safe environment and reserve the right to refuse to move any heavy or awkward items at our discretion. We suggest getting third party help for this and can give advice on finding professional help if needed.

• As decluttering can be very tiring, both physically and emotionally, we recommend regular short breaks and if a full day is booked, we will arrange a time to take a short lunch break.

​

• We do not provide cleaning services but can help a client to find cleaning services to assist them if necessary.

​

• All our staff are DBS checked and vetted.
